Help! Not only do i totally respect the exam, Im also hella scared to take it!
Ive been studying saunders 3rd ed since september at least 2-3 hours a day (more like 1-3 chapters a night---beccause i need to do family duties first), ive already read kaplan strategy for success one time (plannning to read it again), i also read (and borrowed) some other books for supplementary reading (im an internationally educated nurse), and now am enrolled for review classes this december @ kaplan.
Despite all these i still feel like im not studying enough...its like ill never get ready!!!
Fear is always there! How can i get a positive outlook regarding the exam?
SOS!

Good luck and stay positive.

Good luck. It's hard when you have a family to find the time but work out a deal with your family & elicit their support. You need that time to really focus.
Happy Holidays.

Check out the International forum found under the region tab above. If you need a visa to work in the US then likelihood is you will be affected by retrogression and looking at several years waiting. It is not necessary to join an agency and they will not make it any quicker

wow! i think you are well on your way. you seem to be focused and disciplined despite your family duties. i agree it is really hard to stay positive but it is a must. your attitude plays a major factor in succeeding in your boards. trust me i have already taken the exam and did not pass because my nerves were getting the best of me. i know now that i have to have a positive frame of mind or else. i just started to panic and stress because i felt i wasnt ready enough. but i realized you have to be confident in your own nursing knowledge and competency in nursing. there is so much nursing content out there but you must be 100% sure in yourself. stay positive and focused and think of how great it will feel after you pass w/all this hard work. i am not quitting and planning on taking the boards in beginning of feb? i too am using saunders. good luck, i'll be praying for you.

I know this is out of the question but I wrote my exam last week and definitely would recommend saunders 4th.I also used 3rd but some questions are different from 4th.
Good luck

Good Luck to you on your NCLEX. Just remember to relax while you are testing. Use your strategies and be confident in your ability to complete this hurdle to becoming a nurse. You can do this and must believe that you can. My recommendation: is you do not feel ready reschedule your test date. If you are confident go into the test center with your head held high and just do it!
