I would like to know if there is anyone out there that will be applying at -------->>>>>>

Wilkes U for Fall 2021(BSN-MSN PMHNP). If anyone is attending this program please share your experience..

I would like to share info I have gathered so far: (please correct me if I am wrong):

- 42 credits / 2.5 to 3yrs to complete the program

-Tuition: $728/cr

-Fully Online / One Course (NSG 500: Adv Health Assessment) requires a short 2 day residency in November. Specific days will be posted on 7/15.

-This program is not a strictly cohorted program / program is flexible.

-You will receive info on preceptors 4 months prior to the start of your schedule clinical rotation

-Clinical hrs: 500 hrs (w/ 50 of those hrs in Peds)

-Need to maintain a 3.0 overall GPA in courses

1)If you are a NON-resident, how much approx did you spend?

Hi! I am currently looking at attending the Spring 2021 BSN-MSN PMHNP. Still looking at other schools, but this is my top choice for now. Currently reside in Hawaii and just spoke with a coordinator and she mentioned that they do provide clinical placement. Although, I would most likely have to travel. Has anyone looked at other online programs? It seems as though there's a lot in PA in general.

I had a phone interview type convo w/ admissions — it went amazing - spoke to ---------------------- (super great advisor).. she was super thorough on everything about the program.. I had sent my application already ... it was great to hear that they will be helping you w/ clinical placement ?❤️

did they tell you that they guarantee clinical placement and already have contracts? or say that they'll collaborate with you to find placement? I'm trying to make sure, because the way they word it online, still seems as though, to me at least,

placement isn't actually 100%.

I was told that they would do their best to find me placement within 1 hour drive of my home address but that I would have to be flexible that it could possibly be further but they would find placement.

please does any one know about the exams in this school? are they proctored?

Yes psychtobenp they are proctored. I believe my advisor told me you pay like $10 per exam to be monitored

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I have been out of school for 3 years and I just got accepted into the fall pmhnp program at Wilkes starting in a few days . please do you have any guides or tips about this school? are the classes doable? I am concerned about the advanced patho and research being taken together in one semester... can you please share what's working out for you in this program? I am sorry to ask so much questions..
