Hello Everyone,
My wife just completed her 2nd RN NCLEX exam, she failed the first exam after being asked the maximum number of questions. Of course she was devastated and studied like crazy for the 2nd exam, during this time she never failed any sample tests (I believe she used the Kaplan program).
Anyway, today her test shut off at 75 questions. I feel this is a good sign since she was apparently close to passing the first time, and I doubt she would have regressed to the point of failing after only 75.
My question is, how confident can we be that she passed this time, or is it possible to even guess at this point? I truly doubt she could go thru another failure and all the added study.
Thanks!
I took the NCLEX on this past friday, I was very nervous when it cut off at 75, I think I must have checked for results about 30+ times with no results posted. I checked again on Sunday afternoon and I PASSED!! I got about 8 select all that apply questions and the rest were multiple choice. I was really scared because I never have done very well with select all that apply. I did have about 10-15 med questions...thank goodness for TV ads, you would be surprised at how much you can actually learn from those, especially the side effects. Just keep your hopes up, I bet she did just fine.

My mom just passed her nclex a couple of days ago and it shut off at 75 Q's. She probably did pass.
