Wondering about results of the NCLEX RN results if you received 75 questions. Today I took the test in Wisconsin and it shut off at 75 questions. Had a lot of harder type questions with choose all that apply, medications and choose which patient you will see first.
What are my odds of passing? I pray good!
Thanks!

Sounds like what I got. I passed with 75. I do not know anyone who has failed with 75 questions.

I passed w/75 questions....I thought for sure I had failed, as after the first couple of ?'s they were sooooo hard! I would say that your chances are very good.

I paid for the Kaplan course, and frankly for me, I could have saved the $400.
I think that you just need to have a good base of knowledge. You need to be comfortable applying extensions of that knowledge to absolutely wacko questions. I'd say that the Saunders book is good for basic review. If you like and understand a bit more in depth stuff, I like the Prentice Hall, Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN it's a bit more "intelligent" reading.

Two weeks ago, I passed with 76. I bet you passed. Did you do the PV trick?

I think it's most likely that you passed.
A couple of people have been bold enough to say that "you passed" and add a smiley, and while I'd love to be able to say that, too, I HAVE heard (more than once) over the years of people NOT passing when they've been shut off at 75. Granted, this is not likely, but it isn't impossible, so that's why I say it. I think you have to be doing quite miserably for that scenario to play out, however.
Best of luck to you, the odds are definitely on your side! I remember taking my NCLEX, I also shut off at 75. I finished in like half an hour....couldn't believe it when suddenly I was done, I was thinking, "OMG, that can't be it?!?!" I wanted to throw up, was so sure I failed. I passed.
My friend from work took her NCLEX today, we are in WI. Wonder if you are her?

I passed at 75. I know several that passed at 75, but I do know of 1 that did not pass with 75 questions. I'd say your chances are favorable.:)

We have had members post that they failed with 75 but really this is something that can not be predicted because you can pass or fail with any number between minimum and maximum number. Hang in there, try to relax and best of luck
I studied more than anyone I knew. I took Kaplan, ATI online and read through the entire Saunders book plus I used Saunders CD with practice questions. I failed the first time, second time and third time. I have a learning disability, but had no problems at school. I gradutated in May, took Kaplan in early June, took the test the first time in Mid-June and failed. Then I took it again using Saunders only and failed. This last time I took the ATI online class which I thought was very helpful.
Good luck!
