WI: 75 questions NCLEX RN results

Published

Wondering about results of the NCLEX RN results if you received 75 questions. Today I took the test in Wisconsin and it shut off at 75 questions. Had a lot of harder type questions with choose all that apply, medications and choose which patient you will see first.

What are my odds of passing? I pray good!

Thanks!

Two weeks ago, I passed with 76. I bet you passed. Did you do the PV trick?

What is the PV trick?

I don't think you guys should be rushing to tell her she passed. Their have been people that failed with 75 questions. The computer can say 'ok she knows what she's doing i'll shut off at 75' and the computer can also say 'ok she obviously has no idea what she's doing i'm shutting off at 75'.

Just pray and hope for the best! Be positive! It's hard waiting for your results but do something to take your mind off of it and good luck!

At kaplan they said to absolutely not use Saunders, and if you use Saunders you'll fail. They said the book is a good reference guide but the questions on the cd aren't really nclex style and not good for helping pass the nclex.

Oh i'm sorry for repeated posts. I keep forgetting. The pv trick they speak of isn't a sure fire way, but supposed to be something to ease your anxiety. They say going back to pearson vue's website and trying to re-register for the exam will let you know whether you failed or not. if you get all the way to the credit card page and it asks you for payment, you failed. if it tells you you've already registered or contact somebody or it just blocks you from re-registering then you've passed.

of course nothing is as official as correspondence saying that you've passed, but people have been using that trick.

Kaplan will say something like that because they want you to buy their stuff. We have however had many many members pass with just using Saunders on it's own.

Personally I would say go with what is suited to your learning style

There is a big thread discussing the PVT which means Pearsonvue Trick

For the PV trick, how long do you have to wait before the trick works? If I took the exam yesterday will it work today?

75 questions meant I PASSED!! It's a wonderful thing!
