Why do you visit allnurses.com?

She comes in happy every day. What's her secret? She vents on allnurses.com.

Our members come from all over the world. Some members sign up to interact with other nurses, others sign up for entertainment, then there are those who sign up because they want to learn from other nurses. Why did you sign up with allnurses? Why do you visit allnurses?

I come here daily...the wisdom of those who have been in this nursing field has ALWAYS been a tremendous of help to me.

I learn a lot of critical thinking skills here and I'm glad about bEing a member. ;)

New to allnurses, I heard about it from my sister after telling her my frustrations and concerns. Currently I'm working in mental health, have been a nurse for 39 years, many of them in med surg. I'm on a requested leave after 18 months of harassment and slander (I'm not the only one on our unit experiencing this). Until 18 months ago I never had a problem was and still am getting excellent evaluations. We had new nurses start on our unit and a new manager after this things have gone from calm with good team work to terrible and chaotic. My manager says she can't do anything about the problems because when she calls the nurses in they deny the allegations. If you have suggestions please help.

I'm a nursing student, but I saw my several of the RN's in my clinical using this forum when things slowed down to research issues and learn, so it seemed like a good idea to join.

I found this site over ten years okay when I was trying to find a reviews on a good stethoscope for nursing school. I got great advice then and this has been a great forum for information and sharing.

I joined because I was teaching nursing at the time and was looking for tips from more experienced nurses. I am not working at present due to health issues, but I still learn, laugh and cry with an.

I had forgotten all about AllNurses. It was linked to my old email. Thank goodness I have remedied that. I miss this group. It is nice to be able to talk to people of intelligence. Most people here can relate when you are having a bad day. There is more to nursing then passing pills and writing notes.
