Everyone say that they "consigned" a drug waste? Well, of course not everyone, but a whole lot of folks on here do.
Shouldn't the word be co-signed? Or have I been wrong all these years? To me, consign is what you do with your used clothes in a consignment shop.

I think that I was already predisposed to seizures from the head injury, and very specific things lower my seizure threshold. In this instance, it was the medication combination. Tramadol actually carries a seizure warning.
As for the continued seizures, epilepsy was described to me like this -
Let's say you have a wild horse. The horse is safely fenced in. One day, the horse finds a weak spot in the fence and breaks loose. It likes breaking loose, so continues to do so. If the fence is patched inadequately, the horse will find other ways out. It may ultimately destroy the whole fence. If the fence has adequate support, however, the horse will stay safely inside.
To relate that to the brain, the horse is the electrical activity, the fence is the seizure threshold, and the support of the fence is neuroleptics. My neurologist says once a brain starts to have seizures, it almost likes them and will attempt to continue and even increase their frequency/severity over time. That's why treatment is so vital.
Make sense?
