I will be applying to several. Have talked to several recruiters already. Ready but scary too, afraid I'll make the wrong decision and end up with an internship from hell, lol.
Yeah, I'm applying to all of them too. I am so nervous. There's so much competition and a limited amount of spots. What are you all applying for? I'm going to try for ICU.
i will be mainly looking at icu or surgery.....but will really take whatever i can get. i have had a hard time finding a hospital job even in general med-surg..

Yes, that's what I have heard too. Many of my friends who graduated with me last May could not find jobs right away. I don't know if my year of PCU experience will help or hurt my chances. Some managers prefer brand new nurses so they can train fresh. Good luck to everyone.

I am applying to both Parkland and Baylor. I interviewed with Parkland haven't hear anything back. I getting anxious too. They said I probably will not hear anything till March. In the meantime I was wondering will it be a good idea to send HESI Exit Exam score if you do goo. I was thinking the HESI is a predictor on how well you'll so on the NCLEX so I was thinking if you did well on the HESI the might be more app to select you. IDK input anyone??????? I also had a phone interview with BAylor havent heard anything tho.
I just applied to 3 spots at Baylor the other night. Parkland still does not have any of their internships posted? Wondering what is going on with that? Anyone know?

HESI means nothing to these recruiters... you have to look good with you app/ cover letter/ resume and then really get their attention at the interview.
Good luck with yalls interviews and stuff. Dont forget about Methodist... I am interning in their ED and really like it so far!

I just started the Parkland Internship this January. They post their internships later than the other hospitals. And no, I would not send them your Hesi scores, because not all students take it (some take the ATI or other tests). Good luck guys!
