Who excited about the new semester

Published

I've been home bored these past few week, and I've been wondering is anyone else as excited as I am about returning back to school. I did attend summer school, but two of my classes only lasted four weeks so I've been in the house most of the summer. I wasn't able to vacation much this summer due to lack of funds. I just need some excitement in my life and I think A&Pll will bring some lol. Really though is it just me or do anyone else feel this way?:D

I have to say apart of me is ready to stRt as well. I have Chemistry 1151 and lab, PE (online) and College Algebra. I'm nervous about Chemistry and Math together because Math is my friend sometimes. ;( I have the Chemistry book for dummies on my iPad and have been reading it. Good luck to all of us.

I am SO excited to get back to school!!! I'm tired of the pre-reqs, but at least I'll be one semester closer, right?

I get soooooo bored in the summer, it's terrible. That plus all the nurses at work asking when I'm going to be in nursing school....just want to get there already!!

My schedule is totally insane this semester(my one "easy" and fun class is Russian haha), but I can't wait either way.

I'm also tired of the pre-reqs! I got one semester left to go and I'll be done with them! I'm ready to get it moving and over with! I really have to focus too. I want to maintain my curricular GPA for selection...I'll be glad when that stress is over with! Good luck everyone!

yes!....i am taking A & P 2 as well and cant wait to get back into the grind of things!!:yeah:then its micro in the spring and then i should be good to go for the RN program:nurse:

I'm in the same boat! Almost there!!!

ME!!! I told my husband yesterday that I've been getting so bored I wish I had homework. Lol. I've got a decent amound of my Microbiology paperwork printed out and I'm going to start studying for A&P II tonight. I contacted my instructor and he told me what to start studying lol I'm desperate for knowledge right now.

Yea, I thought I was the only one counting down until Aug. 22. I went to summer school..now waiting until Fall..I will be taking A&P 1 and 2 in the fall (second time taking, trying to get better than a C this time) so I am super ready to take this task on!!:yeah:

Yep. Me too. My final for summer isn't even 'til Tuesday but I'm already counting down the days 'til Fall. I do better when I have a little more to do. It keeps me on track and I don't slack and get bored. I have four classes for Fall (two easy, and two moderate) and I can't wait until the 29th to get my last full semester down. I'll be taking Micro. in the Spring but I'm considering this my last semester and Spring to be my rest up before N/S, hopefully, next summer.

I'm excited! I'll just be starting my pre-reqs on August 24 after not going to school for 25 years. My kids go back to school on Monday, so I've got a couple weeks to prepare myself. I really want to get started so I can see for myself things won't be nearly as bad or difficult as I've built it all up in my head to be.

I am! I have been brushing up on my anatomy notes in preparation for phys and started reading the first chapter of my micro textbook! 2 more weeks left!

I'm really trying to prepare myself the best I can! I bought a few A&P books to increase my learning and Kaplan's Medical Anatomy Flash Cards are helping me remember a lot of basics from my Anatomy course in high school! It's insane when I look back and realize that was the ONE class I paid the most attention to! I wasn't even sure about Nursing as a career then, boy have I grown a lot! I'm so thankful to have these materials to utilize before class starts! :) Good luck everyone, glad to see I'm not the only one excited, as always, makes me feel less of a nerd when I see so many others feel the same!

Congrats to everyone starting their programs I wish you all the best of luck, and to everyone starting or finishing their prerequisites continue to work hard. Being a nurse is something that you will never regret. As a wise nurse once said to me "No matter where I moved nursing has never done me wrong"
