Which is harder: NLE or NCLEX

Published

both are difficult. nle is difficult in the sense that the questions are out of this world. nclex is difficult because of it's format and because it is really difficult. i'm fond of skipping questions i don't know. i apply this technique in NLE but i can never do it with NCLEX. so for me it's NCLEX. but my friends told me NLE is harder.

NLE is definitely harder for me. I'd rather take NCLEX over and over again, that take NLE again.

Factors for me that makes NLE harder

-time limit

-out of this world Qs

-written, that makes you prone to technical problems for the scantron.

NCLEX, on the other hand

-has a 6hour limit to finish a 245 or less Qs

-computerized

-SATA or Select All That Apply Qs are the hard ones

-Qs are definitely tricky, but not as hard. They're kinda measuring your practice or if you're a safe nurse.

Well, I guess it all depends on the person which is harder or easier. But a lot of my friends find nclex easier. :D

huhu :crying2: i feel out of place, an outcast. i feel i'm the only one who found NCLEX harder.

but if NLE is really 100% harder on all objective aspects than NCLEX-RN, i WISH Pinoy RNs could just endorse their NLE passing result to US and bypass NCLEX-RN :yeah:

although for me NLE is harder than NCLEX-RN, i think passing the PhP20k NCLEX-RN made me more confident with my nursing theory than the PhP900 NLE :jester:

i havent taken nclex-rn, but i do hope to take it in the near future. for those who replied. thank you for the information. :D

i passed both because of luck. the only difference is that one is useful and the other is useless. ;) peace.

My cousin told me, NLE is harder, she recently passed NCLEX.

My wife passed both exams, and she said the NLE is more difficult than the NCLEX-RN.

NLE is harder. Sometimes I dont know where they picked the questions. Sometimes, it's hard to answer questions based on Philippine setting.

I remember one lecturer said when I was reviewing for NLE "Of course, pick malunggay over cauliflower because it's more accessible to a lot of Filipinos" yeah, community health nursing. haha :))

for me its nle, in nclex when u got it wrong, the computer will give you an easier question, then it gets harder and harder whenever u got it right. in nle, questions are fixed. and there are other factors to consider like erasures, the way u shade the box, when u crumple the paper, etc which are all because we do it by paper and pencil.

NLE = memorizaton , Nclex RN = critical thinking.

NLE is freakyyyyyyyyyyyyy:eek::eek::grn:

NCLEX is more profound:smokin::smokin::smokin:
