Which EHR do you use at your practice

Published

I didn't see a recent thread on this topic recently, so I figured I would ask: which EHR do you all use? do you like it, recommend it, etc?

Last fall we switched from nextgen to a cloud-based service called Athena, and I really love it. Mostly because they let US tweak the user interface to fit our needs, so it has just gotten more and more intuitive. We have a team of our own staff dedicated to taking suggestions and fixing bugs, and the Athena folks have worked to build in functionalities specifically for our practice. I still have complaints- too many clicks for each order and the "working window" is PAINFULLY small because of the ridiculously huge headers. But by far the easiest and most responsive EHR I have worked with.

The community hospital where I worked as an RN was 90% paper (only my unit and ICU were mostly EHR based, but we still used paper MARs, progress notes etc) until last summer!
