Okay I'll start and in no particular order:

Jules A - have learned a lot about psych from this poster. Never considered touching or not touching a psych patient - found that to be an interesting thread.

Juan de la cruz - another APRN who sounds like they have a very cool job - would love to shadow them for a day, week, month. One of my favorite articles (and where I learned a lot too) was about PTSD in ICU Survivors

BostonFNP, Siri, Guttercat, and host of others.

So - share with us - which AN poster would you like to shadow because you think they have an interesting job?

farawyn, the commuter, spidey's ... have learned a lot about real-world nursing from their posts. enjoy coming on here and trying to correlate concepts to school :)

I think I could learn a lot from NOADLS

Great answers - we have some very interesting posters who have great jobs.

Ahahhaaaaa!

Specializes in Pediatrics.

I think for me it would have to be NotReady4PrimeTime. I'm still a student (starting my final semester preceptorship next week on a peds transplant unit!) but I know that peds nursing is where I want to be. I have spent lots of time reading the PICU and Pediatrics forums and her wealth of knowledge and experience is inspiring! Plus I'm also Canadian so I love reading things from her perspective. I hope I can be as great of a peds/PICU nurse as her some day! :) [h=1][/h]

I think the NP jobs are interesting, but I wouldn't want to be one at this time of my life. I find it especially interesting to hear from a NP that worked as a RN for some time. Would like to hear more about what they think of their daily jobs and challenges.
