Where are you? I haven't seen any threads on "us". How did your classes this past semester turn out? What classes are you taking next semester for your last? Where is your internship going to be? Are you as excited as I am to be ALMOST dooone???

Any May grads here in NYC?

I will be graduating with my BSN in May 2007!!!! I'm soooo ready!!! Ready to be done with the schooling part anyway...lol. I'm very nervous about starting work though. I feel like I'll just never be fully ready for that with the little time that we have left. My classes went pretty well this past semester. It actually went by fairly fast. My grades on a few of the exams weren't really my best, but I've had a lot going on that took away from being able to study as well as I should (like 4 kids, a husband, a house to take care of, bills to pay, shopping to do, ect...LOL). I'm still waiting for the last final exam that I took on Thursday to post our grades!! I'm going nuts waiting. They would normally have been posted by now, so not sure what the hold up is. I'm sure I passed the course, but still leaves you on pins and needles until you see it in writing that you have passed. I'll be doing a community health rotation for my last semester. So I'll most likely being involved in doing home visits and handling their IV meds and wound checks and such. I'm in New York also, but not in the city. I'm over in Binghamton. Anyway, good luck on the last semester!!!!

right here! studying for a HESI next week. This one is part of our grade- lousy dirty trick if you ask me- and then I have one at the end of next semester and if I dont get an 850 on that, I dont graduate!

ANYwho- I have an A right now, but with this HESI- I dunno! I will let you know next week!

Yeah May 07 !!!! I can't wait. My classes this semester turned out well. I didn't expect to do so well in my Med-Surg II final.

As of spring .. Med-Surg III, Clinical practicum, and nursing today. I'm currently doing an apprenticeship at CIC/CSU here and will be staying with them after i graduate.. It's a good crew there.

As for excited. I will be once may rolls around... good luck everyone.

I am done in late April so this is close enough. I can't wait, it's been a long four years. I am looking forward to my consolidation this semester in psych. It will be great.

Yay! Good to see there are some student nurses graduating in May. I still have finals starting tomorrow. I have three A's and am hoping to keep hold of all three of them. We'll see. On a side note, I CANNOT wait for this semester to be over and be able to go and see NYC during the holidays. It's going to be nice to sit back and relax for a month before starting work in the hospital next semester with my preceptor:)

I will be graduating May 16th (or around that day). I can hardly believe the time has come...I remember how far away "May, 2007" sounded when I first began! I finished 3rd semester last Tuesday...ended up with a "B" in the main class (mix of psych, gerontology, and med-surg) and a "A" in the other class...I really don't know what it was called (more like a nursing law class). 4th semester is mainly med-surg. I will have a 10 hour clinical day on Mondays and the last 4 weeks I will have a 36 hour work week perceptorship. We have the option of choosing an ortho, surgical, telementry, oncology, etc floor. We are unable to choose a specialty unfortunately.

I'm graduating in May of 2007! Woohoo. Just finished semester III. Got either an A- or a B+ in maternity/pediatrics. Next and final semester is advanced med-surge and community health. Can't wait! Will be trying to interview over the winter break for a possible job opportunity.

Just finished up my Fall semester and can't wait for May to get here. almost didn't make it, and had to re-take my Medicaion Math test (must pass with a 90). I got a 100 an felt it was a good way to end the semster. Congrats to all of the May 2007 students. I will see you all at the finish line.
