Amy-
You'll get your license in the mail from the BON.
As for the hospital- they check with the BON to see that you are a RN. After you get your license they will request a copy of it.
Congrats on passing :)

In IL nowadays, the RN gets a license and pocket card but your employer just goes online to confirm licensure.
Yeah, around here the employers just verify on-line also.
awesome then i am set to go!
Can you believe I took the test monday morning found out 26 hours later I passed on the BON and received the license in the mail today????? Ohio Rocks!!!!!!!!!
That's great to hear! My school has held things up quite a bit (graduated FOUR weeks ago and they STILL have not sent certificate of completeion to board...so still no ATT).
At least I know once they get my paperwork, things should move pretty quickly.
Congratulations:balloons:

only about 12 years......LOL
You must not have been following my progress....LOL I graduated in 94.
so I can't really answer your question, sorry
It all depends on how fast your school works to get your paperwork in. I have known poeple who got an ATT within days after graduation....then there's me and my four weeks...still waiting.
