My Spring Semester Starts on January 23rd and i am taking Political Science, Math, Psy, and my Humanities class......Really excited to start my 1st semester......and a little nervous at the same time:)
I'm taking: Psychology, political sci, sociology, music (stupid visual arts cred), and inorganic chemistry and the lab (Has anyone taken this? it just sounds hard, i'm going to try to switch to general chem though)
January 17th! I'm taking intro psych, developmental psych (pre-natal to adolescence), a dispute resolution law class and children under the law class (I'm 2 classes away from my business major, which I began before I decided to pursue nursing, and figured I might as well finish it up with these law classes. Probably interesting and other nursing pre-reqs fit in my schedule).
My semester starts Jan. 9th. I am taking 17 credits Intro to Computers, Spanish, Stats, Pathophysiology, and because of moving from one state to another I am also taking Bio for health sciences w/lab. I have already taken my Pysc. classes, Englishes, A&P 1 &2, Microbiology,Human Nutrition, Bio-medical ethics and numerous other electives.
I only have two pre-reqs left before I can apply to my program. These are
microbiology and A&P II. I begin on the 20th. I took chem I to fulfill my chem
requirement. My school offered general chem for non-science majors, and then for
science majors Chem I and beyond. I would try for the general chem class. My
school required general chemistry before you could take anything else. I'm not
sure how your school's classes are set up. Is there an advisor you could speak
with? I usually have better luck actually talking to specific departments about
class requirements and difficulty levels. They will let you know if they think
you are prepared enough to take a certain class. Good luck with classes either
way!
Mine starts Jan 12. And you don't want to know everything I'm taking! It's 15 hours, though. I'm a second career person, so I already have a bachelors and other master level degree. I'm trying to get most everything done this semester as I don't have to work and I have a great schedule that can be devoted to studying.
