When does quick result's 48 hrs start to count?

Published

Does it start from the time you begin with the test, or the time you finish the test?

I just took it at 1pm today, got 75q, finished at around 2:30pm. For one minute, I think I passed; but the next minute, I'm so sure I failed. These thoughts just kept coming back and forth alternatively to my mind, I feel so aweful.

I'm taking it at my 37w pregnancy, had to take it now before my baby is due, but really didn't feel I'm very ready to take it.

I had 8 "mark all that applies" questions, and I don't think I got any of them completely right. Errrr!

Generally 48 hours from the beginning, although people have reported a couple of hours difference here and there.

Hang in there! Let us know how it turns out.

Thank you for your reply. I already started to refresh the screen every 5 minutes hoping the result might mysteriously become avaialble now. The next 40 hrs are just going to be a torture for me, but like someone said it on this board, "I've done my part, and God will complete the rest."

I have never heard of it showing up early so I wouldn't worry yourself too much checking it ahead of time. To my knowledge it is 48 hrs from your scheduled test time..so for you 1pm tomorrow. I had to wait an extra almost 2 hours because we had to check out of our hotel and come back home... I learned you can NOT call a 900 number from a cell. It was THE longest drive home. The second I pulled in the drive I rushed in with my laptop and pulled it up on the screen lol.

Keep us posted! I'm sure you did just fine. I drove my husband NUTS the 48 hrs waiting. Thankfully we went out of town for me to take it and stayed so at least we got to do some shopping and fun stuff to "help" take my mind off of it. The wine coolers helped too lol..unfortunately not an option for you :)

Depending on the volume of test takers, some people get their results the same evening, so, I would advise to look or call at will. Good luck!

Just found out after 41 hrs of beginning the test that, I passed!!

I didn't even pay for the $7.95 for quick result at PearsonVUE website, because as of now, my result is still showing unavailable on their site.

I checked my state nursing board's credential verification website 20 minutes ago, and my RN status is ACTIVE now.

My baby is going to be so proud of me: mommy is a RN now:-)
