I guess that would very much depend on what state you are in. I'm in California . The Board of nursing had my application paperwork for 31 days before they mailed out my letter giving me authorization to register and pay with Pearson vue, I did that 2 days ago and am now waiting on a ATT.
I'm from Ohio...I registered with NCLEX (paid $200) and with the Ohio Board of Nursing at the end of October. NCLEX and the OBN have received my applications and fees....so now I'm just playing the waiting game!!!!
I just feel like I'm in limbo right now. I've been studying for NCLEX, but I just want to have a date set.....

Wow, that seems like a long time. Has anyone done any calling and checking? Maybe your school paperwork has been lost.
Hi everyone! I graduated on December 15th and my school was to send out my transcript info on December 17th. No one has received their ATT yet from my graduating class. Prior to graduation, the administrators made it sound like we would have out ATT within 5 business days (if we opted to receive it via email.)What have you all heard? I just want to register and get NCLEX over with!
Thanks!
I graduated august 2nd, then our school contacted us and told us that our names were sent to the florida boards, then after they sent our names we were allowed to send our application to boards, and our application to pearson, I sent mine on august 14, then I got my ATT sept. 10th
I received everything via e-mail because I gave my email address in both applications, if not I would have gotten everything thru regular mail.
I graduated on Dec. 22nd and got my ATT today.
I registered with Pearson and paid for the NCLEX on Dec. 7th. I was told by previous test takers that I would receive my ATT faster than if I waited until I received notification from the CA BON that I was eligible to test. I think they were right because I received my ATT less than a week after I graduated. My nursing school said I would probably receive it in the middle of January!
