I go back on the 19th of January I think. Not exactly sure but that was the last date they gave us. When does everyone else go back?

:chuckle Orientation on january 5 and 6. School starts on january 7. I feel a bit nervous but I am bent on doing well. I have almost finished with my drug calculation and looking forward to purchase my books after orientation.

I am back for my semester #2 finals starting tomorrow morning. Had a nice break over Christmas, but ready to go back. We have a couple finals, and then a few weeks of Practicum, we start Semester #3a on Feb.16/04. Then its 5 weeks of theory, then the rest of our time will be spent in clinicals and practicums in the city hospitals. Downward slide to June 24th! Although we graduate in June, we have a 2 week work experience with preceptor in July, but we cannot take our Licensing Exam for LPN until September 15th.........just means I have to study alot through the summer! Oh well, the time is flying by fast!
Good luck to us all...............!

I haven't been back to school since I attended school to become an LPN. I have been an LPN for about 5 years now. I love my job, but I want more. I really want to become an RN, so I have taken the first step to complete some prequisites, to enter into an LPN to RN program.
I still need Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology III and Pathophysiology, plus a Psych course. It's hard to get into the science courses at my community college, unless you are a returning student. Since I'm new to this area, not new to the state, I chose Pyschology 202, which is online, at my college. So, then I will be a returning student Spring 04, and should have no trouble getting into the science classes. I hope...
I will start my online class tomorrow, Jan 5. Oops, it is Jan 5! Sorry, I work the night shift and this is my night off. I lost track of the time. I hope to get into the RN program Fall 2005.
By the way it's never too late to go back to school, I'm 51, and will be 52, on Jan 20th. Getting older is not bad at all. And being 50 is great!
Good luck to all the nursing students. 2004 will be a great year!
