What's you highest...?

So yesterday I was looking after this guy with rhabdo, who came in with a CK of 243,100 and I was wondering - what's the highest value you've seen? Not necessarily CK, any value.

An example, for example - I had a woman who had a glucose of 120.8mmol/L. I don't know how to translate that into the US scale, but the normal range is around 4 - 9 in a well-controlled diabetic.

Same patient, different admission - triglycerides 8.1 (0.0 - 2.0), cholesterol 22 (?

Highest K+? 7.6mmol/L (renal patient)

Urea - 48.6, creatinine 1.18!!! (same patient, normal levels in June this year)

Highest BP 310/145 (stroke patient)

Do we have any other contenders?

Dear friend who was a child patient of mine (refer to the post entitled "Some Kind of Friendship")...Was talking to me with a blood sugar of 1600....Since then has had a pancreas transplant after not one but two renal transplants and is doing great! Also had a gyn scheduled hyst walk up to be admitted and her crit came back at 15...You never know..Once when I was on some diet a long time ago my lytes were barely off ( the sodium especially) and I was totally confused..

My husband (the cop), had to ED a lady who was high on something. Well, her temp at the hospital was 107 F. NO BS!

blood glucose of 982 on pt who hadn't eaten in 4 hours. BG confirmed by lab draw. He was on my med/surg floor when I came on at 7pm. The CNA said she had been filling up 6 pitchers of water for him every 30 min.

Hemoglobin of 7 on a c/section J.W. pt who refused transfusion, of course. Concensus was that no section pt had ever had less blood loss! She did ok.

I had a patient whose blood glucose was 1100 and he was walking and talking.

A different pt showed me his accucheck (he couldn't speak) value of 19.

Working peds oncology, I'm used to low blood counts. I had an 11 yr old pt come in that I drew a type & screen with my admitting CBC without waiting for a doctor's order because he looked so bad. Hematology called after the first lab draw, saying the specimen was contaminated. So I re-drew. When the second call came, I told them the specimen was NOT contaminated, the pt needed a transfusion. Turns out his hemoglobin was 2.7. The attending had to call the pathologist in blood bank before they would release a unit of PRBC's. Before it was over, my pt was in PICU with a BP of 46/20. After 2 units of blood and a pheresed unit of platelets, he was discharged two days later.
