What type of RN do you wanna be?

I was just thinking about what type RN I would like to be and just wanted to hear from other NS to see their ideas. I think i wanna be a OR nurse or maybe labor and delivery. Just wanted to hear others thoughts :redbeathe

I think I'd just assume sit in an office and deal with crazy employees, budgets, and idiot executives like I used to except this time I want to be that guy that has the tv in his office. ;)

Haven't started NS yet but I think that I would love to be a nurse educator, help the next generation of nursing students. In addition the areas that are of interest to me so far are ER and peds.

I would LOVE LOVE to do something with cardiac patients. Post surgical cardiac pts would be the best! Def. want to get my master's as nurse prac. or something along those lines :)

My ultimate goal is a CNM, I want to catch babies! But as an RN I would love L&D obviously, postpartum, OB-GYN, and even NICU would also work. I do NOT want to work in geriatrics or psychiatric wards, no way Jose!

Funny. I don't want anything to do with OB, Gyn, Neonates, etc.

I have such a wide range of things I'd love to do....L&D, NICU, ER/Trauma (with a SANE cert), Forensic

**I love the pregnancy through birth process so that's why I lean toward L&D and NICU and then on the other hand I was a police officer as my former career so that's why I like the SANE and forensics!
