Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!
1 minute ago, Beerman said:Sorry I'm not joining you here. I've heard all their nonsense before, over and over by some.
You'll get bored of them eventually. In the meantime, I'm enjoying how you're owning them!
The thing is I didn't come here to own them. I came here for what I thought would be a respectful place among nurse's who could debate the politics for a university assignment.
What I've seen is sad. The personal attacks, the propagandic tactics of discrediting opinions based on cited material sources. Setting the stage by ad hominem attacks in an effort to fool the readers of these threads that the person with a different opinion is some sort of far right conspiracy theorist and should be discounted.
And it's okay not to join me! It's even okay to disagree with me. I'm assuming we are of the same political affiliation but I still welcome disagreements amoung my own political party! It's how we keep America great. I still think it is, compared to other countries.

It was purposely made that way as it is so ridiculous to demonstrate the inability of some democrats to criticize their leader or anything their party does.
So point made then?

Not nearly as ridiculous as labeling all non-trump supporters as democrats. I may be wrong, but I cannot recall any posters here identifying as a Democrat. Nor do I remember any poster blindly supporting Biden.

I imagine you are referring to Ashley Babbit. The reason she is not being hailed a martyr by the same people who idolize George Floyd is because her race, the cop who shot her race and her political affiliation and the wrong peaceful protest.
Most rational people do not think either are martyrs.
Floyd was the victim of several police officers including the smug leader of that little gang. That's what the court cases and convictions reflect.
It's odd that you don't know that Trump himself amplified the notion that Babbitt was "an innocent, wonderful, incredible woman, a military woman". It's not odd that you think that her death was related to the race of the officer who defended our Capitol that day. We would better understand why you believe such nonsense if you shared your sources for that kind of thinking.
The reality that you refer to the attempt to overthrow our democracy as a peaceful protest suggests that your sources are pretty extreme. That's probably why you don't cite them.

Wow. You've figured them out pretty quick.

Yeah. We are being trolled. Tina's comments have deteriorated well past banter and into partisan nonsense. I think Beerman may be amused and feels validated. He seems to be encouraging her.

Right on point!
Don't like, can't handle differing opinions = Troll.
I'm sorry you have a inability to hear different opinions or have rebuttals in the tone of the forum that has been set from what I can see, mostly by you. So accusing one as a troll appears to be useful for you.
Beerman doesn't need me to be validated. However he does seem to be the recipient of ad hominem attacks frequently. Being the minority on these forums.
A megaphile right? But totally not in an insulting way right?

It's rather easy really. Typical and repetitive.

Could you direct me to the sources that you have cited?
It's easy to get you confused with a political zealot when you share the rhetoric of right wing political zealots. You could clear this up by supporting some of your opinions with mainstream conservative sources.

I'm sorry. What was Ahley Babbits criminal history? Oh okay.
What was George Floyd's?
Shouldn't matter. Both did not deserve to die.
The thing is, you are not interested in hearing about why I believe what I do. Your main purpose is to try to discredit me and any references I provide and make me out to be far right radical. You are probably getting your rebittle ready for whatever I say as we speak. Maybe have a copy paste file, who knows.
You are not interested in discourse, only pushing what you believe justifying it by any means possible. Fueled by your hatred of Trump and conservatives. I've read back a little and this is obvious.
It was a mostly peaceful protest BTW. The ones that were violent and caused damaged are being prosecuted. And one is dead. Looks like the justice system is working.

You know what? I am open to that idea. I know there is far right propaganda. I've seen it. This is why I do not form any opinion on any side media source. I like to contrast right and left propaganda. The way the info is misrepresented and exaggerated. It's hilarious.
The difference being I will admit and point out right wind propaganda the ones on the the otherside of the isle, not so much. Biden could beat a puppy and some would defend it.
