Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

What’s sad is the female swimmers were told to shut up or they would lose their scholarships.  The school even brought in a psychologist not for the one that needed it but for the girls.  The pushback on this is starting and school officials best wise up or have a really good health plan for major medical coverage.

Do you have another source for this? I don’t see it in the NYPost article linked and Google is failing me.

Thanks for posting. I have since found a couple other stories but they are all based on second hand accounts. I suppose if Penn continues this practice, swimmers could attend other schools. As it is, Thomas is a senior so she isn’t going to set any more school records.

Again, politicizing science.  Fox is just deflecting away from the lack of  Republican ideas on governing.  It's a nothing burger of a national issue because it affects so few people.  The science is just starting on what advantages a trans woman has if she transititioned after puberty.  It's going to take a long time to unwind this one using facts and common sense.  IMHO, post-puberty trans women should not be competing with women but there are plenty of sports where being bigger, stronger and more muscular isn't an advantage so they should be allowed to participate in those.  The NY Post article adds nothing intelligent to the conversation.

Not when they threaten their scholarships.  Thomas isn’t a she it’s a man claiming to be a women.

You could say trans issues are a nothing burger considering statistically, it affects so few people.

This Uvalde mess is getting worse by the day. According to the Texas Tribune, although police said they were waiting for a key, it’s not even certain the classroom doors were locked. Plus, there was a tool available to break it open.

A wounded teacher called her husband, a school officer, to tell him she was dying. When he tried to reach her, he was detained, disarmed and led away. 
I can’t link an article for this, but it was reported by TV station KSAT.
