I hope this is a topic which hasn't been posted on before. I did a search for the word screenname and came up with nothing, so let me be the one who starts this one up. How did you come up with your screenname? Is it simply just where you work and/or part of your name, or is there some more creative background to it?
Mine is simple. I'm a psych RN, and 03 is the year I signed up on this board. Normally I try to come up with some creative screennames, but I guess I just wasn't feeling real creative that night.
Now your turn. I'd love to hear from y'all.
EDIT: I found that someone just yesterday responded to this same type of thread started in '01. :imbar So feel free to let this thread die a slow agonizing death. Or better yet, endulge me with some responses.
I guess you could call mine creative: Alix is for Alexandra Romanov, last Tsarina of Russia - my hubby's name is Nikolaus - I'm from Alaska originally and was always aware of and in awe of the Russian influence in that state. The 'Coast' part is that we now live on the Oregon coast. And I'm and RN. I think that covers it.
Also a note to Avie: I use a Mac at home!
