I hope this is a topic which hasn't been posted on before. I did a search for the word screenname and came up with nothing, so let me be the one who starts this one up. How did you come up with your screenname? Is it simply just where you work and/or part of your name, or is there some more creative background to it?
Mine is simple. I'm a psych RN, and 03 is the year I signed up on this board. Normally I try to come up with some creative screennames, but I guess I just wasn't feeling real creative that night.
Now your turn. I'd love to hear from y'all.
EDIT: I found that someone just yesterday responded to this same type of thread started in '01. :imbar So feel free to let this thread die a slow agonizing death. Or better yet, endulge me with some responses.
Ok, so my real name is Becky and my sister used to chase me around the house screaming "becka becka hi becka hiny ho" (Anyone know the genie from Pee Wee's (Herman) playhouse?) It kind of became a big family joke and so now I'm beckabeckahi--which I now think is kinda of cool, and on websites you never have to add numbers to it cuz it already taken.
My two middle names. My mom is french and evidently it is custom there to give their daughters two middle names.. one name is to be for a beloved family member and the other is to be the name of a saint.. This leaves my middle initials as MD and I can't tell you how many pieces of junk mail and credit card offers I get addressed to Dr..
Eight years ago when the icy, coffee drink make its debut at Dunkin Donuts, I was and employee and master maker of the drink...
The number 19 was the police car number of my favorite Officer who would pick up his morning coffee...I was 24 and he was 40! The man had salt and pepper hair and resembled an older JFK. Jr...absolutely gorgeous...:)
Here's to you Officer John!

I chose the username "cheerfuldoer" to remind me to "BE" a cheerful-doer.....and for NO other reason.
If I were to choose a username today, it would be "fedup". :rotfl:
