HI, I took the NCLEX yesterday and think I failed. The computer stopped at 105 or 106 questions and I felt it was pretty hard. I came home and looked up some of the "easy" questions I remembered and got them wrong. Just wondering cause everyone seems to pass with 75 or 265 questions.

I passed at 75 :)with 6 select-all-that-applies and no calculations :uhoh3:

Gah, lucky duck! I had all 265 questions, took 3.5 hours, several all that applied and quite a few calculations. BTW, the calculations were the easiest out of all of them...:uhoh3:

Passed the first try with 75 questions in 2006. Was extremely nervous and thought for sure that I had failed... longest wait ever!

I passed with 75 ?'s, but like alot of posters I was convinced that I had failed. That was the hardest test of my life.:uhoh21:

I just found out today that I passed NCLEX RN, and I got all of the 265 questions!!! So I can officially say I'm part of the 265 RN Club!

I took it in June and passed and I took all 265 questions which royally sucked might I add. I knew for sure that I failed when I walked out since all my friends passed with 75 or 80 questions, so I'm sure you did great!

I took the NCLEX-RN on July 27th and received results on July 31st. I had to switched my focus from the question counter and clock to the questions at hand at around 165 and figured that I had a 100 questions and 3 and 1/2 hours left. I thought I was taking the MD test, my questions were getting extremely harder and harder. The computer shut off about 15 or 20 questions later. So I'm saying 185 because how many quesions you answered is not something to focus on, it is a distraction tool on the test. Took the test on Friday, that was a big mistake, I had to wait until Tuesday morning for the results. I had by then worked myself into a frenzy.....by the way, I passed, and I got my actual license in the mail Yesterday! Virginia State Board of Nursing has a web page and gives results asap with out paying Pearson the extra money for quickie results. Hip Hip Replacement! I mean Hoorey!

I took the nclex at 3pm on 8/1. The computer shut off at 75 questions. I was convinced that I failed. I had like 20 check all that apply questions and alot of infection control(my weakest areas). I checked the pearson website obessively yesterday and today and found out I passed at 4pm! I was literally shaking each time I logged in to check. I'm so relieved right now.

I tested Thursday and am nervously awaiting my results!! I got 78 questions, no math and am sure I failed!!

When I took PN boards 5 years ago I got 77 questions, one math and was sure I failed... got my license in the mail 2 days later... so I'm trying to stay positive... trying!!:uhoh3:

I passed with like 110-115 questions. I bombed easy q's and bombed the math calcs (I had like 5 or 6 math). I had 10 SATA, lots of priority and "hard" q's too though. I was 100% sure I failed but I didn't. When it didn't shut off at 75 I was trembling and couldn't think straight, it was awful.

Back in 2004 I got 75 questions! I remember it like it was yesterday. The computer shut off at 75 questions. I was in disbelief. I knew I did really good or really bad, and of coorifice, I was pessimistic about it. I wanted to burst out in tears. I held the tears back, although I know when I was signing out, my face was as red as a beat. I walk out of the testing site, took a deep breath, and broke down into tears. I could not eat for a week waiting for the results. When the day came that I could call the testing center and pay to get my test results, I did. But during that long depressing week I could not eat or sleep. I called and the words were music to my ears. I PASSED with 75 QUESTIONS! Whoa! All of you new nurses, welcome to the new journey, where we provide compassionate care! Congratulations to you all!:redpinkhe
