Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I started making some flash cards for my A & P class. I prefer Sharpies because I figured the thicker lines would be easier on my old eyes, especially with knowing that I'll be starting at hundreds and hundreds of these this semester!
Well, to my dismay, the ink bleeds through the flash cards, interfering with the wording on the back side! Do they make thicker index cards? I'm wondering if that's my problem.
What kind of pens are y'all using to write out your info on your flash cards?

They have the thinner pen-like version of the sharpie. I don't think that would bleed through. I bought one for my micro class that is starting Monday.

Pilot G2...best...pens...ever. .07's for index cards and I use the .05's for notes, etc...

Here is a silly one. I make what is called fruggle flash cards. I take a piece of paper and fold it in half. One the one side I will use a regular pen or pencil and write the term ( I will write it larger). Then I will number it. On the other side I will write the def and number it. You can get a lot of terms on one sheet of paper and it seemed to work great for me.
So, the answer to the question is just a regular old pen. I did the same thing in the past. I tried the sharpie thing and that was just ugly. : )

I prefer the Pilot Precise V5 which is a .5mm that I use for both notes and note cards. The G2 is a great pen, but it's a little bulky for my taste.

Um...just a normal pen.
My favorite (black) pen is my Bic Pro+ because it writes really smoothly, and lasts forever. I used it in all my classes all of last semester and am still using it now!

my wife laughs at how I am with my pens...I'm very picky about using Pilot G2's, and when people ask to borrow my pen I get kind of defensive...lol, its a sickness

I actually type all the information into Word and then print onto cardstock and cut them. That's the only way that I have prevented the bleeding.
