My GPA is a 3.85 and my school goes by points. Its also just a small community college that only accepts 50 students so although my GPA is good I'm not sure how competitive it is to get in...

Just got my letter today!

I had a 4.0 GPA in pre-reqs and a 3.8 cumulative GPA when I submitted my application. Of course, after the end of the semester, my GPA will probably be 3.6 (Stats & Chem are HARD!)

I only applied to accelerated second-degree programs, and got into two of them (still waiting on the 3rd school) with an overall GPA of 3.4-3.5.

My GPA from my first undergraduate degree was 3.2-3.3; my GPA for nursing prerequisites (and a few random classes over the last few years) is a 4.0.

So, not EVERY accepted applicant has 4.0 overall GPA.

My science GPA was around a 3.5 and my overall was close to a 3.0 (from a previous degree) but my school goes by the points system with GPA, TEAS score and core classes completed being the deciding factor.

My gpa (science, pre-req, previous degree, overall) was about 3.5-3.6 when I got accepted! When I first came on this forum, I was very discouraged by the high gpas, but don't fret. There are schools that look at your overall application and not just your grades. Volunteer experience, personal statements and letters of recs really do make a difference!
