Hi, thank you for replying, I appreciate your time. Yes it's true that Florida give you 3 chances if you failed the third time, you required to take a remediation course. That's why I'm not going through them anymore. Ok thanks please I'm waiting for your feedback about New York. Thanks

What are you going to do if Florida denies your endorsement? Are you prepared to fly or move to New York to get a job? To endorse in Georgia, one of your border states, you have to show over 1000, paid RN hours.

If, before you pass the NCLEX, your BON begins to require RN working hours prior to endorsement, you're going to find yourself up the creek without a paddle if you have no plans on relocating/commuting to another state.

That's another reason to understand why you're failing this exam and change your approach to understanding the material. Then apply with Florida.

There are threads (recently) where students are state-hopping and end up needing to take YEARS to pass the NCLEX in excess of 10 attempts because they're choosing to overlook the reasons behind the failures.

Read before you answer, I clearly said" I don't know if this is true" and that it might not be because NCLEX is a National test" You guys are real bullies on this site, Like I said before, I know for a fact NCLEX is a National test. Seems like no one can respond to anyone on this site without being attacked by the regulars. Sickening

oh for heaven's sake this isn't bullying by any stretch of the imagination! If you think telling someone that they are not giving out correct information and then providing the correct information is bullying you have a pretty screwy definition you're working from. Saying "I don't know if this is true" and then posting a ton of untrue information is ASKING for someone else to either verify that what you said is true (which would be helpful to the person who needs the correct info) or refute the untrue information and provide the TRUE information (which is, again, helpful info to the person who needs it).

I can read just fine, and what I read was numerous errors about the test. You said you heard that Florida was hard, it isn't. You suggested that by allowing 3 attempts, and the way you said it, that this somehow confirmed that Florida was a difficult state to test in. It isn't. You said you remember a "director" saying that "in one state SATA is graded partially", partial credit given for partially correct answers, and THAT is also untrue. You also said that New York is a "good state" to take the test in, and once again, it is untrue that one state is a good state or bad state based on the NCLEX.

Yes, you did say you know NCLEX is a national exam, you got that one right, but you also went on to say that any one state can do anything regarding this test differently, and that is once more untrue. According to you, feeding false information as you have done is nice and helpful and giving correct information is bullying and attacking. I find that to be strange thinking, personally.

Giving people the link to the website where they can find out the facts and not myths is a GOOD thing, and a NICE thing to do, and usually when someone helps someone else out they get a "thank you" and not nasty comments about bullying! My post was helpful whether or not you choose to recognize that. If you don't like being corrected that is your problem to work on, on your own, as there will be MANY times in your new nursing years that you will be corrected. Comes with the territory of not knowing everything possible, as none of us do, which is why people ask questions and others provide the answers. Your comments are rude, but not bullying, I know the difference.

D'oh! I knew I should have scrolled back up instead of just thinking I had the right name! My bad.

excellent point about the minimum paid hours thing, I didn't know that! I wonder if that's a new BON requirement to get past people who have not met their own BON's requirements for a license and took the exam for another state BON as a way of circumventing the Home BON rules? Sure looks like it. I do know of a lot of people who got past the 3-test max for Florida by doing what the OP is talking about, and I guess if they change their rules like Georgia has then it'd be a major problem for those living in Florida but holding a NYS license. Ouch.

Well...enough enough enough. With this crazy experience. I heard enough of it thank you. Please find another subject. That's ridiculously crazy, enough thank you i have enough.....

Will close this thread since OP has received advice and thread has now stalled.

Good luck to the OP whatever you decide to do.
