What won't you get done?

So at best, we'll be back in school May 1st which would give us 13 school days. Realistically, admin has said to be prepared not to return this year. I know many of you are in the same boat. So...what won't you get done if you don't go back?

I have 2 grades yet to do health assessments on.

Puberty Education for 4th and 5th grades (with P&G samples)

6th grade Puberty/Health with local doctors.

Meds picked up or delivered (Most of mine are sent home with students last day of school)

I have to get my Epi Pens reordered and a crap ton of filing to do, but I'll be able to go in at some point to do that.

Spring screenings; I do postural and SBIRT in May usually. Waiting on my states recommendations for that right now. We will go back May 4th at the earliest, which would give me about 6 weeks (last day would be June 24th) So still doable. But who knows what is ahead.

Thank goodness I had this urge to go ahead and do CPR/FIRSTAID with my high schoolers (sophomores) in February. ? We usually wait until May. Anyways, I really had mostly everything done. We are out for good in VA, so I really had nothing but my EOY report to do for the state. I suppose I will still do that, and go grab my personal stuff one day this week. I had our Secretary give back the 3 prescription meds to the parents, due to my kiddo being sick that last day of school. I need to get up there to give back OTC meds, but it isn't a priority, and our school board wants us at home. Our last day was scheduled for June 5, so I am just homeschooling now. Crazy times!

AH! Epi-Pens. I can't think off the top of my head when mine expire. I believe it is June 2020. Haven't ordered those (obviously). I didn't finish filing my paperwork this year ? so close but not finished. Preschool hearing/vision screenings...not going to happen. I didn't give back any meds. None of them. Most of the kids didn't show up our last day of school anyways (which is the day the governor announced all schools had to be closed) because neighboring schools had already closed. We go until the end of June so maybe we will get back. Who knows. Our school is doing a fabulous job of online learning.

Screenings!! I had a good chunk of them done, but my catch up and clean up days were scheduled for the beginning of April. I can probably rush and try to squeeze the rest of them in, but I'll need people to leave me the heck alone with the stupid malingering stuff. Have to get the p&g class done too, but that takes 2 periods

I need to move files and order supplies. Return all meds either by pick up or drop off. I am in Texas and we are waiting on a new date to go back??? If at all.I did my CPR/Stop the bleed with seniors and I had finished my screenings I was able to submit vision and hearing to the state. For the most part the finishing up I need to do can be done at home. What a year it has been!

We are closed for the rest of the year. I didn’t teach HIV or growth and development. I had one more class of CPR for seniors (requirement to graduate). I didn’t finish end of year reports. Didn’t send home immunization letters.
