I am stil studying and nervous as can be. i was wondering what everyone else did the day before the test? I am not taking the test until 1:00 PM EST tomorrow but I plan on getting up early and sitting in the parking lot and studying until 12:30. I used to do this back in nursing school and it worked so why not try it again.
Signed,
Nervous.
So? How was it?
Hello:
187 questions and 4-1/2 hours later and the computer shut down. I honestly cannot tell you if I passed or not and I do not want to ruin Father's Day by trying the PV trick in case i did fail.
All I can do is keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best and if it doesn't work out I am going to get back up on the horse for another round.

The day/evening before..I spent it with my family. Husband took us out to for a nice dinner with our girls, we saw a movie, hung out at home and talked for hours. It was a Pixie and family day. I didn't pick up a book, go on the computer to do NCLEX practice tests. The words test, nursing school, nurse etc were not use and the whole family did what they could to keep my mind off the test and focused on the 'here and now' aspect of our time together. Went to bed really relaxed (well as relaxed as could be with the monster of all tests being the next morning 8am sharp) and woke up refreshed.

I also studied the day before. Instead of answering a bunch of Kaplan questions, I reviewed lab values, medications, and content areas I struggled with. Our Kaplan course didn't recommend doing any studing in the 24 hour period before the test, but I still did and I feel it helped me a lot. I also voice recorded the important information on all the medication classes from the Kaplan course book and listened to it on my ride to the testing center (2 hours away). By the time I took my test, I had tons of medication questions so I was thankful lol. I had 21 SATA and my test shut off at 75. I also had two EKG strips to analyze and treat and quite a few math questions. I had some chart reviews and ordered lists. Got my results today...passed :) Good luck!!!!
