I just wanted to make a thread dedicated to the companies. Which one do you use? How long have you used them? What do you like about them?

RN Looking to travel corrections with an LPN friend. We're interested in April. Finding a company now would help us prepare by applying for license to the states that they usually travel

I currently travel with Medical Staffing Network i know there are companies out there eith better deals but my recruiter is awesome so that is my reasoning. met another nurse with same company that was dissatisfied but she was unhappy with recruiter. My advice is go with a comapany witha package that suits your needs and a recruiter that does the same.

I am on assignment through RN Network and have been extremely happy with everything they've provided. It's a well-established company and the everyone from the recruiters to the housing coordinators and payroll have been very accommodating.
I learned about them through this forum. And let me tell you, it saved me from a huge mistake.
I've been sent out on an assignment at a wonderful hospital and now plan to extend at least another 13 weeks if not more. Check them out. They're out of Boca Raton, but I am on an assignment in California through them.

I am working with CrossCountry Novapro now on my second assignemnt. My recruiter has been wonderful which makes a difference .I've talked with others who have worked for CC who have had less positive experiences. I believe it's the rapoort with the recruiter that makes the difference..

For the east coast I liked Core Medical for the one assignment I did with them in Florida. I like QTS too so far. I keep re-uping here in Phoenix since I like the assignment and it is closer to home in New Mexico.

Novapro is one of the companies I am thinking about using. I have heard mixed things from people on cross country. Have you had any problems? I've also heard that with Novapro, certain costs are deducted from your hourly pay, such as housing amenities and licensure reimbursement? Have you had problems with any of this? You can PM me.

I have met several RN's travelling with Geneva. I tried Ogrady Peyton. I was already partway through the visa process to the US so, I was on my own.

I have to agree with "kairgivr" as say it is unfair and honestly of against the concept of such email forums to just say "they stink".
Isn't the purpose of this to share information? I would be worried if I heard that a company I was working for was hated by another nurse on this forum. But maybe your needs from an employer are different than hers. But just to say "they stink" causes anxiety without any explaination and is not a very friendly at all. Why post at all?

I have recently taken my first travel assignment as an RN due to Hurricane Katrina. I went through RNNetwork and got a great assignment in Midland, Texas. The pay is pretty good, but the service through the company is wonderful. In the middle of all the chaos, my original recruiter just walked out on the company, but they made sure I was completely taken care of and set up with a new recruiter immediately. They may not pay as high as some of the other companies, but they really seem to take care of their travelers. And their benefits are excellent as well. They also reimburse for travel and licensing expenses. I have renewed here, and they give renewal bonuses, etc. I have not read or heard any negatives on RNNetwork.
