I know, silly question :) But I'm starting school this Fall and will be buying my first stethoscope. I wanted to get a fun color, and to my knowledge, our school doesn't specify that we get black. Who has a crazy/fun color?

I used to have this one in pink. Now I have a Littman Infant in Carribean: http://www.allheart.com/2113-17.html
I use covers, too. It keeps the tubing from picking up skin oils and a permanent bend from my neck. I actually don't like having "stuff" around my neck, so I put it down when I can, but if I'm working Mother/Baby, I need it w/me.
I hate Spragues--too heavy!! That cheap stethescope works just fine! I'm not a cardiologist, after all, but I can hear a murmur w/the cheap one.
Navy Littman Cardiology...
I'm a little HOH and couldn't hear with my first choice...an Ultrascope
I'm seriously considering the electronic Littman...OR a hearing aid
Speaking of.....how does it work wearing a hearing aid and using a stethoscope?? Would you have to take out the hearing aid? Anybody know?

I have 3 stethoscopes. The one issued to me by my former school is royal blue and single-tubed. I own a double-tubed black steth as well as a transparent single-tubed baby blue steth.
