Just thought it might be nice to have people to chat with over the course of this semester!
I'm taking:
A&P I
Statistics
Speech
Nutrition
School starts for me tomorrow!
I an taking AP1 & Intro to Chem. Was going to take Chem 1 so I be able to apply to a BSN program, but had to take Pre Calc. I tried online and definitely needed to be in a classroom for that class. So not wanting to wait another year going for the nursing program at the community college.
Last 2 pre reqs plus the TEAS this semester.
I am super nervous about Chem. It's totally out of my element and advanced math psst algebra is not my strong suit.
I just took Chem in the Spring. While there's math in there, it's fairly basic, IMO. Just study unit conversions and you should be just fine.
Just finished the Chem class. Haven't taken a math class outside of the class I dropped out in over the summer.
Feel it is simple math, but the until explanations made me want to keel over, scientific notation. Then started to see a lot of math from pre calc, but the professor doesn't want it to be all math. Simple and easy showed us this way to do it. Only downside my refurbished calculator bit the bullet during class. The chem labs seem challenging and nerve racking. Lots of quizzes, exams, lab work, random assignments, and homework. Not complaining, but was a 180 from Anatomy.
Hey all - I'm re-taking Chemistry and taking Life Span Psychology online. I took (and passed) Chem I & II during my undergraduate - but it was too long ago - I had to re-take it. I'm jealous of you guys going to school full-time - I'm only taking 2 classes because I work full-time.
Good luck to you all.
I'm taking: A&P 1, Nutrition, & Speech
which gives me 10 hours this semester. I wanted 12 hours; however, I didn't want to huge load while taking A&P. For those of you that have already taken those classes, can you give me any advice, insight, or suggestions so that I can do well? Thanks.
