School starts for me tomorrow!

I only have four pre-requisites left and I have to split them between Fall and Winter. August 24th is my last day of Summer quarter classes and I'm finishing up speech and statistics. Fall classes start on September 19th.

Fall 2017:

Anatomy and Physiology I (I bought a couple coloring books and am excited about those)

Microbiology

I'm soooo glad you started this thread! Great idea, I'd love to chat with anyone else in pre-nursing this semester!

My classes:

Biology I (lab and lecture)

College Algebra

Intro to psychology

Intro to sociology

Visual arts (elective)

I start classes tomorrow, as well! I was actually supposed to start last Monday, but I live in southern Louisiana where all the flooding just happened. We had to postpone our start date for a week. I've been itching like crazy to get started in class.

I got coloring books as well! Apparently my teacher also provides coloring sheets for us.

Yikes - I hope the flooding isn't too terrible in your area.

I LOVED Sociology, it was probably the best class I've taken so far. So interesting!

I'm finishing my last 3 pre reqs

-A&P 2

-Micro

-nutrition

I also got 2 gen eds

-Acting

-Metropolitan studies

Oh fun.

I'm starting..

General Psychology

Intro into Political Science

Pre-Alegebra ( I didn't score quite high enough to score into the Chemisty..) :(. So hopefully next semester.

In order for me to do Bio 1& 2 and micro I need to do Chemistry which my math score wasn't high so I gotta do a math course or two before I can get into chem to move onto Bio :(. But I got plenty of general education classes that need to get done.

Totaling 15 credits.

I see some of you are taking like 5 classes.. Holy smokes thats a lot.. I'm considering doing 4 or 5, but I want to see if I can handle this load (15 credits = full time here and each class is 5 credits)

It's okay, I had to do the same with math. In the long run, it helped me SO much and I really needed that extra help. Don't beat yourself up about it!

I would be taking another class - it would make things so much easier, but I also homeschool my two kids and I don't think I could keep up.

Thats what I told myself in regards to math. It will help me in the long run. So I'm not to sore about it. I'm just glad I scored in pre Algebra and not the math 'catergories' before that. Just need to do Pre-A, Than College algebra next semester, Than i can go into Chem I believe (Have to double check).

I honestly could take more classes being that I'm unemployed and using my GI Bill, But we shall see, I got kids and stuff as well and am looking to work part time.

Hi

Fall 2016

Anatomy & Physiology II

Microbiology

Statistics

Lifespan Development

Classes start tomorrow here!

I only have one pre-req left that I have to take. It is my philosophy course, and I am taking Intro to Ethics in an online course for it. It is an 8 week course starting tomorrow.

I am also taking a Chemistry course. I have taken Chem before...but its been a LOOOONNNNGGG time ago (like in 1992). I am taking another one for a refresher, and just in case the BSN programs don't allow a Chem course that is that old.

I am also taking a Medical Terminology course online, but that is during the second 8 weeks of the semester.

Fall 2016 I am taking:-

Anatomy & Physiology I

Anatomy & Physiology II

tishalu-- you're taking AP1 and AP2 at the same time?

To all of you taking more than one major science course per semester....you are much braver than I am....

I purposely took only one science at a time....they took a lot of my study time and concentration. I would have gone crazy attempting more than one per semester.

md322--- Ap2, Micro, and Stats????? WoW!!!! If you can successfully do that, nursing school should be a breeze for you!!!!
