I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

So who should run in his place? I have a long history of voting for the losers so if I speak up, I might curse the person:) I'm hoping for a dark horse (white horse?). If they were a pragmatist and a middle of the roader capable of winning, that would be the person I could support. I only voted for Biden because I didn't couldn't vote Hitler-lite. Biden has a very long of history of foot in the mouth disease. I prefer to put the burden of improving the world on the people who actually have to live it for the next 4 or 5 decades.
The National Hockey League is viewed in my area as primarily made up of white athletes, participants, officials and owners. Trying to broaden its appeal to become more inclusive of the human race and various cultures is a good thing in my view.
Just like nursing has been doing for the past 25yers, one of the reasons allnurses created a Men in Nursing and International Nursing with immigration advice forums to increase men and minorities in the nursing profession.

Quote...Despite its progress, the nursing profession continues to struggle with recruiting and retaining a workforce that represents the cultural diversity of the patient population. The authors completed a review of the literature on DEI in nursing and found a scarcity of studies, and that a limitation exists due to the strength of the evidence examined. This article aims to provide a review of the literature on DEI in nursing, outcomes and strategies associated with organizational DEI efforts, and knowledge on how the American Nurses Credentialing Center Pathway to Excellence® Designation Program framework supports DEI initiatives. The authors further provided recommendations for nurse leaders and a checklist of proposed questions for assessing commitment, culture, and structural empowerment initiatives toward a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization.

Isn't there a so called "affordable housing crisis" and aren't people struggling to eat with current food prices? 70% of the population lives paycheck to paycheck. The people who supposedly struggling are the ones receiving this aid. If we didn't have these socialist Anti-American programs based on thievery and exploitation of the top % earners in the nation then maybe this population would have been forced to develop a little work ethic at one point.
You are an open misandrist, stop projecting
You have't providing any evidence that social programs are harmful...you've simply made a hyperbolic claim from the perspective a person who admires Putin and believes that caucasion men are oppressed in the USA...in spite of all of the contrary evidence. It's nice of you to be so concerned about the financial well being of the wealthiest. Of course, they do have congressional republicans protecting their financial interests...but your concern is a nice touch.

I'm amused that you believe that retirees, children and the disabled are lazy and just need to be forced to develop "a little work ethic".
Calling a man a misandrist because he points out the misogyny in your extremist views...I can live with that...given how untethered to reality some of your other opinions have proven to be in these threads.
ZyzzFan said:I already shut you down linking you sources regarding the rise of black supremacy in the United States. Not acknowledging this movement is disrespectful to the victims of black supremacy and alt left extremism. As for Putin's liberation of Ukraine like I said earlier educate yourself, read some of the literature I linked regarding the 2014 coup in which a free and fairly elected President Yanukovych was ousted by violent extremist groups.
Why don't you get off of the Huffington Post for a second and read some academic literature regarding white shaming and black privilege.
You haven't shut anyone down with your made up nonsense about "black supremacy" or "black privilege". Were you one of the students required to purchase and read that controversial book by the author? Maybe his racism influenced your own, eh?
As I said before, Putin isn't liberating the people of Ukraine...he's killing them and destroying their cities...that's why the people of Ukraine are so successful in thwarting his attempts to overthrow their elected president. Repeating Russian propaganda might work with people who don't read much, don't understand the history of that region or who don't have extended family in village outside if Kiev...but it's wasted on me.

So it's okay for them to hold an event that explicitly bars people based on the color of their skin? What happened to MLKs dream? Just admit that you are a racist and don't like white men.

Black privilege may make you uncomfortable, but its an important topic that needs to be discussed. Discussing the matter does not make one a racist. Just compare the admission data for medical schools to see a clear example of black privilege. What is the average GPA/MCAT for a black applicant compared to an Asian or Caucasian applicant? This is black privilege.
As for Putin, #StandByRussia, you can post your Russiaphobic nonsense all you want but it doesn't change history. Millions of Ukranians fled the nation after the 2014 coup and are fighting alongside Russians in liberating the nation. You have a history of bigotry and Russiaphobia here as well as numerous posts sympathizing with terrorist groups. I hope you aren't working in healthcare still.

Is this the governor that's trying to make it illegal to make white folks uncomfortable?
