I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.
According to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

This is false. The links I provided included all perpetrators of slavery. It would seem others became "royalty" and benefitted just as much within their own country and race.

Did you know there is still slavery happening right now? In Africa and other places? However not in North America? I think the angry feelings of those who like to express their emotions would be more productive if they focused on modern-day slavery. Instead of attempting to demoralize an entire race by atrocities committed in the past by people who are not alive nor are the people they enslaved. For political gain.

All very nice and erudite ... but my point was that the behavior of other people at other times in other places does not erase the fact that African slavery in the New World was practiced by Europeans for the benefit of Europeans. Attempting to minimize that is simply dishonest.
So ... what is your take on the role of slavery in the economic development of the European colonies in the New World?

Tbh, none of us were there and all we have left are memorabilia, paintings, pictures, writings, artifacts, ancestral items left from some of our African American peoples and a lot of these images and memorabilia depict harsh treatment being carried out by some whites and white supremacists. You and I know that. We don't have to play mind games with some of these posters. I got nothing for the rest of these people.
People are fleeing Canada? I live near the border and people come down to shop, and the snowbirds come down, but I haven't noticed any mass migration. My Canadian friends wouldn't want to give up their health care access.

The Defense Department will no longer require service members to get vaccinated for COVID-19, according to a memo signed Tuesday by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
The move comes weeks after President Joe Biden signed the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act, and with it a plan to rescind Austin's August 2021 memo directing the services to create a vaccination policy.
