I'm switching into nursing to get my RN BSN and we get clinical rotations in all different areas including home care and community placements so it'll give us a nice variety of different types of nursing jobs.
I'm just wondering what kinds of nursing jobs are your favorite lol?

Grasshopper, I wish you the very best. Nursing is an unstable position now. Many new grads can't even get that first job.
You may or may not, gravitate to an area of nursing. The best job .. will be where you find one.

"Best" is so relative.

I'm from Canada but in my area there seems to be alot of RN jobs and the grads seem to find work quickly in many different areas of nursing. I'm praying it stays that way lol we are building a new hospital as well so i'm hoping it opens even more jobs.

What's "best" for me likely will not be "best" for you, so the opinions of strangers on the internet are pretty irrelevant. Keep an open mind and see where your interests lie once you start your clinical rotations.
Yes, Canada is a different story. You refer to "We". Are you employed at a hospital there? Please leave LOL out of your vocabulary. This issue is no joke.
Thanks for the responses.
I wasn't using the word "we" in the wrong way.. It's no big deal but it's pretty common for people in town to say "We are getting a new hospital" in the area regardless if they work in healthcare or not.

The job that pays the most and is the most advanced, requiring you to use the most knowledge possible.

You better post in the Canadian Forum where this source of employment is.
Ontario seems to have huge problems in the GTA.
Alberta has an unofficial hiring freeze (the government isn't hiring any more staff) and nurses are in theory government employees. We've had a new hospital in my area for the last couple of years. Unfortunately it turned into a very expensive day clinic. They can't afford to staff it 24/7, so it's open until 2300.

Not every position suits everyone. My nursing professor used to tell me that nursing needs all kinds of people because all kinds of people need nurses. So what kind of person are you? Where are your interests? What kind of working life do you envision for yourself?
