how are you preparing yourself and/or family:

trying to clean and organize my apartment so i have a clear place to study. reading the saunders nclex book (only in my 3rd chapter). i also have another smaller nursing study guide (that seems too easy). oh, and some drug notecards (that i've only briefly glanced at). i'm also mentally preparing myself for being in a female-oriented environment. i think i've usually worked more with guys, so being in an environment with (potentially) catty women scares me. oh, sorting out the nightmare of student loans. concerned about buying my first car (i'm 34, have probably driven less than 3,000 miles in my life). pouring over these forums, looking for suggestions (now hoping to purchase a math tutorial).

will you be working fulltime/parttime/not at all:

hopefully not at all, 21-23 credit semesters with up to 3 clinical days/week will probably be more than enough work for me. but, i'm not completely ruling out otherwise working (i'm just not sure what i'd be able to do with my schedule that would allow for sufficient study time).
