I, being the impatient person that I am, decided to make a thread to discuss the upcoming cycle of applications for Western University of Health Sciences, Masters of Science in Nursing Entry program.
A little about me, my undergrad is a B.S. in Public Health, but I always was interested in the nursing field. After getting my CNA license I decided that this was the field for me and want to eventually go on to become a Nurse Practitioner. I've been working on my application and I'm very nervous/excited to hear back (even though that seems forever away haha). Anyone else applying for this cycle, and if so what are your thoughts on the program??
Anyone know what the loan fees for the Direct Unsubsidized ($217.00) and Grad PLUS ($2,842.00) are? When deciding how much money I should accept from my loan offers, should I also include the loan fees?

I’m in the process of reapplying for schools in the meantime, but I’m keeping my hopes up since WesternU is my top choice!

Hi! I was wondering the same thing. I am an alternate and haven’t heard anything either.
So every time a new spot opens up they said they review the applications again to determine who will he awarded the spot. I'm sure it takes a while. I've decided to go to a different school so if they offer me a spot I'll be turning it down! So that's good for y'all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Has anyone heard anything about classes being online or not for fall? ? I'm trying to figure out if I need to start looking for housing or not. I know that theres suppose to be a seminar about it some time soon...

I was initially meant to go to the states for the BSN but financial issues caught up and I am not sure if they will give me enough aid to cover it all. I am literally looking for anything at this point. I am going to apply to Humber but there is a waitlist. I will also be applying to University of calgary since they have January entrance. Does anyone know if the application for Western is still open?
Hello everyone. Does anyone know anyone who is currently in the program or has been in the program? It would be great to hear from people who have went through the MSN-E program at Western who could give insight as to the quality of education, clinical placements, is the program worth the cost, etc?
Additionally, looking forward to meeting everyone and starting the semester!
