Western University MSN-E 2020

Published

Hi all!

I, being the impatient person that I am, decided to make a thread to discuss the upcoming cycle of applications for Western University of Health Sciences, Masters of Science in Nursing Entry program.

A little about me, my undergrad is a B.S. in Public Health, but I always was interested in the nursing field. After getting my CNA license I decided that this was the field for me and want to eventually go on to become a Nurse Practitioner. I've been working on my application and I'm very nervous/excited to hear back (even though that seems forever away haha). Anyone else applying for this cycle, and if so what are your thoughts on the program??

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Hi! I just received an interview ! I look forward to meeting you guys ?

Has anyone that attended EAO day hear back yet ? :S

I haven't heard back yet. They did say we will most likely hear back in 2 weeks from our EAO day. I am so nervous and anxious! Goodluck everyone!

I submitted my application the very last day possible. I’m wondering if this has anything to do with the long delay.

I don't think it has anything to do with when you submitted the application. I submitted mine the last day as well, but I heard back from them about 4 weeks ago. Don't lose hope! They are still sending out invites! Good luck! ?

Congrats to everyone getting interviews! Anyone from the EAODs hear back yet??

I saw someone said Wednesday might be the earliest, so I’ll be constantly refreshing my email today (as if I wasn’t already lol). ?

Hi @Calgirl11,

Sorry for the late response. My interview is on the 19th. Um, my Cum GPA from undergrad was around a 3.34ish, then I got a 3.7-8 in the latter classes I took at various CCs. My last 60 was around that range as well. I started off pretty unfavorably during my first 2 years of undergrad then it trended upwards when I became a bit more self-aware and changed my mindset. I would say based on grades, I'm a pretty average applicant. Fortunately, the review process is done with a holistic approach! I felt pretty undeserving throughout, but blessed to have the opportunity. Keep your head up if you don't receive a favorable result at first. If I can do it, trust me, you definitely can and will ?

I haven't heard anything either... You would think if we weren't picked for an interview we would get an email stating that we didn't get accepted. This seems so unorganized. Heres to yet ANOTHER week of wondering....

Have you heard anything cynhart? I am beyond confused at this point.

Hey, nope nothing at all. Losing hope lol! I am wondering if anyone got a rejection email? I mean if we haven't got that I guess it's a good thing right?

I also haven’t received an interview invite or a rejection. I’m starting to lose hope as well ?

I emailed Alberto and he said that this week is the third week for decisions and interview invites so maybe we’ll hear by Friday. Unsure if that meant that this week is the last week though. Don’t lose faith!

I hope EOAD peeps will get emails tomorrow or else we gotta wait until after the weekend ://

I guess we are going to have to wait until after the weekend ? so nervous

I haven’t received an interview invite or a rejection. Has anyone received a rejection yet? I was told those would’ve gone out this week as well.
