Hi all!
I, being the impatient person that I am, decided to make a thread to discuss the upcoming cycle of applications for Western University of Health Sciences, Masters of Science in Nursing Entry program.
A little about me, my undergrad is a B.S. in Public Health, but I always was interested in the nursing field. After getting my CNA license I decided that this was the field for me and want to eventually go on to become a Nurse Practitioner. I've been working on my application and I'm very nervous/excited to hear back (even though that seems forever away haha). Anyone else applying for this cycle, and if so what are your thoughts on the program??
Looking forward to hearing from you all!

I haven't heard anything either... You would think if we weren't picked for an interview we would get an email stating that we didn't get accepted. This seems so unorganized. Heres to yet ANOTHER week of wondering....
I got an invitation to interview Saturday morning. I got pretty excited since WesternU is my top choice, but reading this forum has gotten me pretty disheartened. If the 65-70 slots are taken up by those who were granted EOA interviews, the rest of us in the regular interviews have an even slimmer chance then I previously thought? Welp, blessed to get an invitation nonetheless. Good luck to everyone with their respective endeavors!

I was curious about the status of my application and just called in and spoke to Albert. He said some interview invites will be going out today and next week more invites and acceptance decisions will be going out. Congrats to everyone that got an interview! I’m keeping my fingers crossed because I didn’t have a high gpa from my undergrad over a decade ago and not much experience, even though I did well in the prereqs I took recently I don’t know if I have a chance. Good luck to everyone:)
