Western University MSN-E 2015 Applicants

Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

Wow congratulations, GuiltyLove!!!! I would definitely go since you don't have to do the interview! I didn't get an e-mail...lol.

I went to UC Irvine as a Bio Sci major and my GPA was ~3.6. For my pre-reqs, I got A's in pretty much all of them except for Microbio and the lab for it (B/B+), so the pre-req GPA was a bit higher.

It seemed like we didn't need the GRE for Western, but I'll give my stats for it anyway. Verbal was 155 and Math was 164. My essay part was 5.0

Hi everyone! Kudos to everyone so far in this stressful process of waiting. I have also received an invitation for Early Acceptance Opportunity Day!

@bro.nurse - Can you explain what this means exactly, and what to expect for the day? I'm confused as to if it's a sure spot into the cohort since the email states: "Should you choose not to attend or are not available to attend; you will need to go through the interview process in order to be CONSIDERED FOR a seat in the MSNE class entering in August 2015." I am so excited and grateful to receive the email, but I don't want to get my hopes up!! (haha)
