Western University MSN-E 2015 Applicants

Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

Hope so :) This is not my top choice because it doesn't have a pediatrics program, but I applied here anyway for the FNP.

You applied here too GuiltyLove?! Haha. Yeah I applied for FNP too. I got the e-mail Nov. 4th. I think it just depends on when you submitted it.

Haha yeah, I just applied to a lot of places just in case... Western and UCSF were the only Californian schools I applied to

I heard about this early acceptance day called Preview Day last year that is different than the "Preview Day" we got this year. Do you know if it's for people who will for sure be accepted, and when does it usually happen?

@zoiKers, the program is intense. but I like it. During my rotations at hospital, the hospitals speak good about western u as compared to many other programs in the area. Teachers are helpful and most of them are really awesome!

I think someone that got in the current class said we're supposed to hear late December or January? Western hasn't sent any e-mails.
