Western University MSN-E 2015 Applicants

Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

I haven't heard anything either, feeling really sad :( but trying my best to stay hopeful, because this profession is my passion and gaining acceptance would mean the world to me right now.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say congrats to everyone who have heard back so far and good luck to those who are still waiting or are going through interviews! :)

Aspiringprovider - Continue to stay hopeful!! I was invited to Early Acceptance Day but have withdrawn my application, so I hope that leaves a space waiting to be filled!

Same here! Passion is an understatement! I love nursing, I'm literally waiting with my email open but I feel positive so we'll see!

This is typically from students. Not from faculty. Don't be lured into a false sense of camaraderie with staff.

really? can you elaborate on your personal experience amberusky? from Preview Day and from the Early Acceptance Interview it really seemed like the faculty (and students) were very welcoming, created a really friendly and personal environment, and were there to support us... and that was something I did not feel from UCLA's MSN preview day (which was more robotic and disconnected).

I have to disagree with amberusky. I feel very comfortable around the faculty, they are very friendly!

Hi everyone! Great news I just received an acceptance email and will be accepting :) These past few days have been so stressful waiting to hear back, and I completely understand how dreadful the waiting can be. But hang in there and I wish everyone the absolute very best!!

I'm in! I got my acceptance letter! I can't wait to start and recieve my graduate degree from Western!

I attended the early acceptance day on the 15th, for those who were wondering.

I, along with another person I met at Early Acceptance Day, got into the program as well so we started a Facebook group for the Cohort (XII).
