I just got accepted into the FNP MSN-E program at Western University of Health Sciences.:D Has anyone gone through this program? If so, could you please share what you liked and disliked about the program. Any feedback would be helpful.

I am new to allnurses but I also got a call about a week ago for the MSN-E letting me know that I will have an interview on Jan. 14th. Anyone else on that day? Also, I am from Washington so I was wondering if anyone has advise on where to live (if i get in) that is safe and close to campus? Any advise for the interview? Thanks!

You can live in La Verne or Chino Hills. Safe areas. I live in Chino Hills and it is about 20 minutes from campus via surface streets. I have a friend in La Verne and it is very quiet there as well.

To lovelywintermt....My interview time is 12:45pm and they said to plan on staying untill 5pm. What time is yours? Also, do you know if it is group or individual? Congrats!

My interview is at 12:45p.m. as well. they said the same to me on staying until 5 p.m. I do not know whether it's a group or individual interview.

Please post the reply if anyone knows whether Western University interview is group or individual interview. Thank You.

Same here! The last correspondence I received was via email on 12/16....

I haven't received a rejection letter...so I'm crossing my fingers that I still have a chance! Let's stay positive :D

I am scheduled to interview on January 16th at 12:45pm. Anyone else at that date/time? Based on blogs from previous years applicants, these will mostly be conducted as group interviews. Is anyone else as nervous as I am?? I am curious how many applications they received this year and how many of those have been selected for interviews. Good luck to everyone!!

Yes, i received a phone call for the same interview time Jan 16th at 12:45. I also received a letter today to confirm the details and to offer some interview advice. It doesnt specifically say whether it is a group interview or not but what it does say is that your interview is done by 2 faculty members. So maybe that's a hint that it will be individual. I dont know.

Did anyone start perparing? what sort of preparations is everyone doing?

I just received a call to confirm an interview, too! =) I am beyond ecstatic right now, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Best of luck to everybody. Time to prep!

Its been a month since my email to say that they received my application and I finally got word that my file is complete and ready for the nursing committee evaluation.

I cant wait to hear. Kinda glad I don't need to interview. :up:
