Westchester Community College FALL 2010 RN PROGRAM

Just wondering if anyone is applying to the Fall 2010 RN program at WCC? Im curious to know what youve heard is the score you should obtain on the TEAS to gain entry into the program? At the Nursing seminar, we were told 85 or above and buy your scrubs but around campus Im hearing from students that they know of people who scored 90 and didnt get in.

Just read on WCC's Facebook page that letters will not be going out until end of next week.......

I just looked at WCC's FB page and I couldn't find anything about the nursing program. Where did you see it?

Someone posted a question to the school (dated either yesterday or today) saying they took the TEAS in March and wanted to know when she was going to find out if she was accepted and WCC replied to her post and said letters will go out end of next week

That facebook reply was posted 7 hours hour prior to this message. I sincerely hope that it was an error and they were referring to the end of this week. I have been patient up until this week but this is now killing me. For better or worse I just want to know.

Not only that but its really unfair-fall reg started weeks ago making it less and less likely to get the non-nursing classes u want, not to mention those who paid to take summer courses, which start Monday I think, those people lose $ if they don't make it in. I really don't understand the hold up.

I don't think it's ever taken this long to notify people. It's strange. I signed up for micro for fall just in case I don't get in. I will drop it if I get in. I start pharmacology on Monday. Yikes!!!

Someone posted on WCC's FB page yesterday how happý they are that they got accepted to the Nursing program! I have not heard a thing??

I've been watching this thread for a while, trying to keep track of when & if people were notified. Unfortunately, I did not make it into the evening RN program this year - I got a rejection letter on Thursday. I'm assuming the rejection letters went out first since they're simpler, so if you haven't heard anything hang in there, it's probably a good thing. @ Jake22, I also start pharmacology on Monday (night classes) & I'm taking microbio in the Fall (also nights). Maybenextyear : sorry about the bad news :crying2: It's good that you are getting a head start on the courses. Would you mind telling me what your TEAS score was?
