Westchester Community College FALL 2010 RN PROGRAM

Just wondering if anyone is applying to the Fall 2010 RN program at WCC? Im curious to know what youve heard is the score you should obtain on the TEAS to gain entry into the program? At the Nursing seminar, we were told 85 or above and buy your scrubs but around campus Im hearing from students that they know of people who scored 90 and didnt get in.

I haven't been notified yet either. Maybe they meant that the acceptance letters were mailed out already. Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe we'll receive it in the mail soon. If I don't get a letter tomorrow, I am going to the admissions office on Friday and I will have them look me up specifically. I wonder if they will do that?

Are you talking about the post from Michelle Lee where she's talking about not hearing anything yet from admissions? That is still there, but the one from the female who said that she got accepted is not there anymore. At least I can't find it. I've tried clicking on "older posts" and I still can't find it. It was posted after Michelle Lee's.

Can other people see that post too?

Hi trying to find a way, There are too many people with high scores who did not notified yet. I know at least 5. I think they mailed the letters today. Hold tight, you didn't get a rejection letter yet did you? I agree with future nurse that the recording at 606-6929 just means letters were sent. It's out of hands right now. My fingers are crossed. I checked the PN box too on my application just in case I didn't make it into the adn program.

i got a letter saying that i was accetped into the liberal arts and math program back in the like april but never heard from them sense. All I can i say is that the people are taking forever to get answer back....still waiting!!!

I GOT ACCEPTED! I cant say much else except that I wasnt notified by a letter. I wish I could say more but I dont want to **** anyone off. Its just my opinion but I dont think everyone who's been accepted knows so dont stress!!

Hi Nurseyesurn,

Congratulations!! I'm sure you are so relieved! I can't remember, were you accepted to the Day or Evening program? I've heard from several people that they got in and had a lower TEAS score than I. I keep thinking they lost my application. Why can't you say how you got accepted? Did WCC tell you to not say anything? Who would you **** off? Write back if you get a chance. Again Congratulations!!

Congrats NurseyyesruN!:yeah: Did you find out your acceptance through a phone call? Please tell us! They won't know what your real name is. I'm still waiting for some sort of result. I never answer my phone, though. You think they would leave a message? If I don't get any communication from WCC by Saturday, I think I'm going to have a nervous breakdown!

None of my friends have been accepted yet although the TEAS scores are definitely high enough. I heard people talking in my pharmacology class that someone was accepted into the program with an 85. I'm going nuts too. I don't know what the delay is. I'm dying to know how nurseyyesurn was notified. The only way I would think you could be notified is by phone call or letter. WCC's admission office is closed tomorrow, so no one is calling tomorrow. Oh well it's supposed to be beautiful weekend. Hopefully we can all relax. LMK if you hear anything.
