Just wondering if anyone is applying to the Fall 2010 RN program at WCC? Im curious to know what youve heard is the score you should obtain on the TEAS to gain entry into the program? At the Nursing seminar, we were told 85 or above and buy your scrubs but around campus Im hearing from students that they know of people who scored 90 and didnt get in.
What did your friend get on the TEAS. Did they send her a letter? Is she an LPN?
I don't think this person is an LPN, scored in the mid 80's in the TEAS and has excellent grades. My friend did not go into details as to how the classmate was notified. She just sent me an email saying her classmate had gotten in.
I just called Don ******* in admissions and he has a new recording. It just says he's away until June 1st and makes no mention of nursing admission results! Also, on WCC's facebook page, there used to be an entry from someone who said that she got accepted into nursing program. That post is no longer there, along with replies to her!!! What is going on??? Why can't they just tell us what's going on? My individual total score on TEAS was 88.8 and I'm applying for night/evening program. I hope they didn't lose my application! When I first applied to take TEAS, they lost my paperwork and I had to make many phone calls to get it resolved.
This is driving me craZy! Still nothing in the mail today!
I hear you. I feel the same way. I got an 88.2 for my composite score and also applied to the evening program. They kept losing my high school transcripts before I took the TEAS too. I spoke to Don today and he said hold tight a couple more days. He said the nursing department was making the final decisions. It is so frustrating.
Well everyone who is still waiting to get word, I am unfortunately the bearer of bad news. I went into the admissions office today and was told that everyone who was accepted has already been notified.
Many factors must have been taken into account because I assumed my 93 TEAS exam would have been very competitive. I graduated from a very good college but unfortunately lost my focus and got subpar grades, this I assume is what knocked me out of the running.
In the admissions office they gave me a numbr to call 6O66929, which had a recording stating that everyone who was admitted had already been notified.
This was really disappointing news but one thing that really irritates me is why have i not received notice of rejection.
Well this is very disheartening, I guess its time to start plotting my next move.

I've been away from this thread for a few days. I did not realize they had sent rejection letters or that people were already being notified of their acceptance! I have not heard anything, so I don't know what to make of it. My friend told me that a classmate was notified she was accepted to the Night/Weekend program. If I don't hear anything by close of business on Wednesday, I'll be at that office first thing Thursday morning...
