Yup this is WCU. Oh nice, good luck to you! I'm supposed to you're applying for the Summer term. I talked to my advisor today and she said Fall application has not up yet, not until they finalize their Spring cohort.

I’m applying for the spring term.  I want to get started ASAP. Are you applying to the Ontario campus?

Good luck mate! If you get in, update us 😉

Do you start from scratch or you already have those pre-reqs done and only take those 4 GE mandatory courses?

They require that you must take First Year Seminar, Critical Reasoning, Pathophysiology, and GE Capstones prior to the core nursing classes. These classes can be completed within a semester.

Hi!! I am wondering if WCU is hard to be accepted into? I have over a 2.0 GPA but less than a 3.0 from my previous college. My prerequisites I also have less than a 3.0 but higher than a 2.5 GPA for those prerequisites. I really want to apply but Im afraid ill be rejected. I want to apply but not waste my time attending the information session that is required. Please let me know your GPA ranges if you were accepted!! Thank yoy

Their admission requirements are not that hard to meet. I would suggest you to sign up for one of their information sessions, which, are typically held at 11 am daily (Mon-Fri), and are extremely helpful! I am about to start the Jan 2020 term. Im kind of on the same boat as most of you, I applied to a few state programs and didn’t get in. I had an cummulative GPA of 3.4 at the time I applied with a TEAS score of 89%. They immediately ”conditionally” approve you on the spot when you go in for the info session if you already have either a TEAS or a HESI score. Get this, the minimum for a TEAS I believe is a 56% and HESI 32%. I might not have the numbers right but they’re VERY low. Anyone who’s willing to pay a fortune on their tuition is practically accepted. Everything always comes at a price.

Hi! I currently go to the Orange County campus but I just wanted to chime in and let you guys know that it is first come first serve for starting your classes. You have your seat in the class saved as soon as funding (aka tuition) is secured. For me, this process took a little bit longer so I had to wait back a term so that everything could get processed with my financial aid. So I would definitely jump on those asap!
