Hello Everyone,
I am starting this post for anyone attending or applying to West Coast University in Miami (Doral) Florida. West Coast University has a brand spanking new campus in Florida and they are offering a 39 month BSN program. I am currently going through the admissions process. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. So far I am very impressed. Getting into nursing school in South Florida is very competitive and WCU is helping to make this a seamless process for me.
Please voice your thoughts, comments etc.
Is this school accredited or approved? There are so many nursing schools now a days that you have to be careful. I just am ask because I don't know too many nurses that went here. I attend Barry University, its a private catholic school, it's pricey but accredited and well known. Just be careful nursing schools are pumping out students left to right. You don't want to go to a school that you can't pass the NCLEX or find a job after.
I am in the process of enrolling here but have some reservations. I took the TEAS and qualify for a scholarship, have my grants set up and have a meeting next week to see what credits they will transfer. I finished my AA in nursing and was planning on getting my BSN traditionally but the waiting lists are insane. My enrollment hinges on my transfer credits and cost that will be out of pocket after.
Good morning. I just took the TEAS V test last week in West Coast University, and i DID NOT pass the test. I love that school, and i would like to start this semester. Which book or website did you use for the TEAS V, i need to pass that test. Thank you
You all take the TEAS at campus in Florida? We take the HESI Exam in California at the campus.
